"It is said" He was the bass player studio musician for the byrds Turn Turn Turn recording. Glen Campbell played the 12 string Ric on that song.
Leon was a house musician at sun records. I have a video of him and waylon and merle at a session.
He is Credible.

leon is the top. as good as anyone. if you watch the concert for bangladesh, he stole the show. you can tell the respect he got from the other performers. a true master of rock n roll.

Saw LR this year in Foxboro, MA 10/23/09 and it was very moving. Not many that can get it across like that anymore. His boys were great too! Killer guitar player! THNX Leon!
