Abbey Road Studios, November 1968. McCartney and Donovan Lietch recorded this song during a break from producing Mary Hopkin's "Post Card" LP. Written for his step-daughter, Heather, this lovely song would never appear on any official McCartney record.

I was around white folks as black boy from black background & saw whites with Donavan records,so seeing D brings back memory. They're singing heaven,which brings to mind Abbey Road where heaven is mentioned. I think it was r&b group Atlantic Starr who sang a chorus of- this must be heaven in romantic terms, along with this theme being in other r/b tunes,probably rock,whatever.
