@kkirk19 ahh well put.

@JUSTIN5PNT0 Early 90's, S13. Should be in the description. Look's like a Silvia K's or something like that, at least to me it does.

sweet!

@Jlizel Nearly everything you just said is absurd. As much as I love my 240s, 300hp with no lag or extra heat is nothing even close to retarded in these cars. He deserves to have his build appreciated, try it.

@Zomgdevil you could do it a lot cheaper with an lq4 or lq9 6.0 ls motor, it would make more power too, but it would weigh 80-100lbs more because of the iron block

ive had full exhaust intake and tune on 13lbs and im sure it was around 250ish maybe on a stock sr
im doing a lsx swap
just curious, why didn't you just merge the two 3in pipes into a 4in instead of a 3.5in pipe?

@funguy7979 Many reasons... The biggest reason was 3.5" pipe is cheaper and the muffler was cheaper, also it's easier to route around the rear subframe for better ground clearance. And for my power goals, the 3.5" provides more than enough flow / volume. An added side bonus is that it is a little bit quieter than running 4" with a 4" muffler.

im lookin at doing an lsx 240sx how much did the swap run you? i priced it out for an s14 and it came out around 5-6k, how much would it run to put it in a s13?

@Zomgdevil For just the engine, trans, and all of the random parts expect about that much. Then add in what mount kit you use and it could easily get more expensive. Check out silviav8forums

Dam.. So sexy!
How long it take you to finish the whole swap?

@ki11joy92 Too long! Took the car down last October and first start up was a couple of weeks ago. So just under a year.
