@indie1361 This engine is currently owned by the Essex Steam Train in Essex, Conn., it 's currently under restoration and will be dressed up a New Haven J-1 class 2-8-2.
-
What was the number of their other steam engine, and where do those steam trains currently reside?
-
@notalott My wife and I had a stay at Kane Manor bed and breakfast, in the morning I hear the same whistle we hear in this vid. I had no idea this trip was running, and under steam. We ended up chasing it that day all the way to the Kinzua viaduct, and watched it cross. You are not kidding about a dirt track railroad, at points enroute the right of way ran right through front yards, 20ft from the front door of tidy ranch houses, rail heads showing through perfect lawn - Best - CW

wasn't that built by Tangshan in china?

Nice video

@Strasburg1991 probably not when she was built. but im sure someone at the K&K decided to put that B&M 6 chime on instead of the one she originally had.
-
@Engineer5344 is that its original whistle

Looks like that line was one hell of an operating headache in the days of freight.. bucolic though. definitely a 'dirt track' railroad! they don't make 'em like than anymore!
It was made in China. Not sure of the locaton . I believe in the late 1980s.
