I had zero plan for this song. I recorded the entire thing in one go, and only removed 2 bad note hits and fixed 1 timing issue.

I have a window above my keyboard and I decided to open it up. Outside I saw a light gray sky. It was showering delicately onto the tall pines swaying in the wind. My eyes were looking out at this sight for half the time I was writing this song... I think I found a new method :)

I tried to come up with a way to add vocals or strings but they all seemed too... full... too rich... so I wrote only a piano part, thus having the same twinkling beauty of space.

Are the soundfonts you posted a link to the same as the Orchestra expansion pack? Sounds like you used the Steinway Piano that Garage Band orchestra expansion pack comes with with a little bit of reverb. I'm working from an older version of Garage Band but it's hard to tell. I'm really curious what you used. It sounds awesome.

@sdoggingsworth Trust me, if I could get my hands on the Garageband Jam Packs for free, I'd be all over it. I'm actually using the standard Garageband piano emulator but I changed the EQ and reverb settings to give it a more steinway-esque sound. Plus the soundfonts in the link actually come with a stereo steinway piano, I just decided not to use it because it was too soft.
