Do you think medical science wants to cure disease?
-
Mine was caused by dehydration and me drinking a lot of sweet tea and drinking cofeee. So I take responsibilty for it and it has been a very difficult lesson about my diet. I live in Az also and the Docs told me that kidney stones are rampant here because we don't drink near enough the fluids that we should living in the desert. So water has become my favorite liquid once again.

I got two stones recently (one on each side). I passed the one on my left side that was 8mm but still have the one on my right side that is 7mm. They gave me Flomax to help pass it. It has helped with the pain but haven't passed it as of yet. So gotta set up an appt with a specialist to get further treatment.
I hope I pass it before then. The pain of a kidney stone is hard to describe. It is so intense and feels like a really bad toothache plus someone stabbing you at the same time. Not fun

@FxScalper : Or you can just thank the people who buy it.

You can thank the food industry for creating food that is designed to create problems in our bodies. The medical industry pays off food manufactures to create medical jobs.
Will Oxalobacter Formigenes ever find it's way into treatment ?
KevinSean116 11 months ago
@KevinSean116 Oxalobacter Formigenes is currently being study as an enteric bacteria that may decrease urinary hyperoxaluria. To date results have been mixed and the clinical applicability of this bacteria remains unknown. Further research is needed before consideration of Oxalobacter Formigenes as a clinical treatment for stone disease.
