Betsy Morgan at Children's Theatre of Winnetka

Betsy Morgan, who got her start in Theatre at Children's Theatre of Winnetka, returns to sing for the cast of My Fair Lady. She is currently featured as Fantine in the 2011 tour of Les Mis. A Broadway star, she graciously shared her experiences with these young actors, answered questions
and then sang for them. Her accompaniest is Greg LeFevre.

Children's Theatre of Winnetka is a non-profit volunteer theatre company known for high quality children's productions. Established in 1975, CTW uses a cast and crew from New Trier Township, grades 4 through-8. Betsy started in 4th grade in Bye Bye Birdie and was in all shows through 8th grade. She established a "first" for CTW when she played the role of Peter Pan in the musical Peter Pan and Flew, just like Mary Martin, with the same company that did the Broadway show: Foy.

Just saw her sing this at the Kennedy Center in D.C for Les Mis. This video does not even come close to how good she was live. She easily had the best voice on the stage and in my opinion she is the best Fantine ever.

@MrZola1234 I saw the show in Minneapolis and she was simply brilliant. The quality of this video obviously sucks, but I still watch it all the time because she was sooooo good in the show. I definitely recommend seeing it.

I hope she has a much stronger voice than in this video.... I'd like to see the traveling company she is in later this year, but this vid didn't excite me to want to go, because eponine is key to enjoying the show... her character has been played by women who have stolen the show with their performances..... she's no Lea or samantha sparks

Also saw her at the Kennedy center... She was FANTASTIC! Brought tears to my eyes, and made me feel for Fantine's story more than I ever have before.. What a fantastic performer!
