@MattyIce2001 From Dusk Till Dawn was 1995, and Blade Runner was 1982, it is an iconic scene. Aaliyah and Britney really liked each other but dancing with a snake has been done before. Britney was just the first to do it at an award show. and I don't see a resemblance really to what they wore, Aaliyah had snakeskin, while Britney wore an bikini halter top like what she wore in the Slave for you video, they wanted the performance to be a jungle theme to match her choreography.

Im saying on Aaliyah's 2001 album there are pics with her with the python inside and in her video she had the same kind of outfit and had a python around her. Then she died and less than a week are the VMA's then here go Britney using the snake. There is an interview where Britney even said she loved "We need a Resolution" and the video.

@MattyIce2001 NO, a women dancing with a snake was done WAY before Aaliyah. It was in Blade Runner and From Dusk Till Dawn movies.

of course you have to lip sync. dancing like that ans shizz with a snake on your arm..plz its nearly physically impossible to sing real on key. think people think. we zall know she has a good voice. who care if she lip syncs .
