This SS100 B-S failed to sell; the owner didn't want to lower the reserve, and bidding stopped at $235k. You can hear me talking about Austin Monks as a former owner, and Ron Christensen talking up the bike immediately after me. Great auctioneering work by the World Champion 2008 Auctioneer!

  • In th eearly 80's I did some work for a guy that had a SS100 inunrestored but running condition. He assured me what it was worth and I could never afford it. I heard the twat sold it in the mid 80's to a guy from the scottish borders for £3000. I nearly cried!!! The chap that bought it must have been laughing all the way home!!!!!! I met the seller a few years later and told him what he could have got for it - he was not a happy bunny!

  • Nice but, that's a lot of money for that old thing.

  • great bike(load of bollocks auction)

  • I covet thee

  • Auctioneers use this to raise your heartrate to get you to make faster/higher bids. Most of them showoff with each other when they gavel.
