Estás equivocado. Christopher Robson has a fantastic countertenor voice and is perfect for this role. The ENO do all their productions in English and this one works really well.

I love Robson's singing! He may not have a beautiful voice but nobody can convey the meaning and the emotion better than seen here. And I don't just mean his acting - he sings bloody well. It's theater, people, not a recital of bel canto arias.
