Panasonic HMC40 Low Light Test #1

Panasonic HMC40 set at 720/60P in full auto mode. I exported using Adobe Premier's media encoder using H.264, native resolution which is 1280x720, 59.94 frames per second, widescreen pixels, and progressive field order. The file was just shy of 4 minutes long and roughly 167mb in size using a target bitrate of 6 mbps. FYI, if you raise the bitrate to 25 Mbps, it makes the file size 690mb for roughly 4 minutes of footage. This was done using VBR, 1 Pass Bitrate encoding. The little bit of sound you're hearing is sound from the zoom button.

Funny guy...I know it's not what we typically shoot, just haven't had time to get a real video yet. A lot of people have been concerned about it's low light performance given the small size of the cmos sensors, and this was easy to shoot quick and dirty. :)
