Mean Mary playing violin (fiddle) with her brother, Frank James, on the Gretch guitar. The song is an old blues/folk tune called St James Infirmary. Louis Armstrong does a great version of this song - check it out sometime!

  • Love ya Mary, but surely you've made enough with your talent to put some shoes on that boys feet !!!

  • Beautiful and a really original take on a classic. I would love to find the sheet music for the violin!

  • Wow!

  • this is perfect

  • Mean Mary can you play all string instruments? Amazing girl!

  • @meanmary80 Lol

  • dont know how many times ive watched this, but holy moly. great cover and way to make something so sad sound so fucking beautiful in a totally new way

  • is Frank wearing that bow to protect him from that lethal looking bow?

  • Marmalade cats usually have a good temperament- more suited to acoustic and traditional music- not Heavy Metal or Thrash. Good choice of cat- or Moggie as we call them over here.
