@9inchnail5 i've heard of WINE yes, and yes it does a great job, but it doesn't run natively under Ubuntu. that's a shame. would love to install Ubuntu but i've got some games i can't install on it.

Here's what I don';t understand about these videos; it's nice to show the effects, but it would be nicer if you told us the name of the app to download.

@ohsnapitsme59 This is not an app you download. It's a complete operating system seperate from mac OS and Windows operating systems. This video is just a demonstration of how well the OS works on a low end 5 year old machine. If you are interested in this go to Ubuntu and research if linux is a good choice for you. It's certainly the most personalized OS I've ever used and it's free with free upgrades. Hope that helps.

It's a pity most software isn't compatible with Ubuntu. it has so much potential but so little people that support it...

@rooo1o There is a program called WINE that basically acts like a Windows emulator and lets you install most Microsoft and third party software (with the exception of some games) into Ubuntu. A lot of web services are offering Linux support as well, except for Netflix (urg!!) But one of the best things about Ubuntu is the open source (free) programs that basically mimic Microsoft software. And it is a free operating system after all with free upgrades, so that's what I like most about it.
