The series wasn't bad, but the NAACP back then remembered the old act where two white men in blackface performed the act. It was a white person's idea of what it was to be black and it was quite insulting.

One of if not the best show ever. The actors were better than anything we have nowadays. The NAACP needs to right another wrong besides Ms. Sherrod and get these people the accolades that they deserve.
