I walked into the arena, feeling a bit awkward and out of place. We went inside through the back door, and I could see workers running around and rushing down the hall. Just as I was taking in my surroundings, I heard the screams. I jumped in fright.
"Sound check party." Mrs. Denise explained.
I nodded my head, realizing that I was, and still is, one of those crazy screaming fans out there. It shocked me to realize that I could possibly hold the heart of those screaming fans obsessions, also known as Nicholas Jerry Jonas.
We reached the backstage area, and I found a place where I could watch Nick perform. He looked back, noticing me watching him, and said to his audience, "Hold on for second. I'll be right back!"
He then came running off the stage and stopped when he reached me. He hugged me tightly, and kissed my forehead. "Enjoying the show?" Nick asked.
"Yeah, there's this really hot boy band up on stage. You should check them out. My favorites the cute one, with the curly, brown hair and the sexy, sweet voice." I replied, grinning.
"Yeah, I always thought he was the coolest." He said, going along with my joke.
"Of course you did." I said, and giggled a bit.
"Hey, come follow me." He said, grinning, going back onto the stage.
"On stage??" I asked, feeling stupid.
"Yeah, I told my fans Id be right back, and honestly if I know your down here without me, I wouldn't be able to finish this sound check."
I blushed, and said, teasing him, "Fine, but only because of the sake of your fans."
"Oh yes. What would the fans do without me??" He said, playing along.
We walked onto the stage, farther apart then we usually are when we walked together. I didn't want the fans to hate me too much. My hands all over Nick Jonas would definitely get me some death threats. We'd have to play it low key today.
"Hey guys, this is Allie." Joe said into the mic. The fans started to scream.
One of the workers handed me a microphone. "Hi.." I said to the crowd, feeling out of place.
There was a stool close by Nick, I went over and sat in it.
I scanned the audience. There were a lot of pretty girls, all dressed up with perfect makeup and perfect hair, all of the three guys in front of them. I noticed that I was in my sweats, with no makeup, and with hair put up in a messy pony. I looked like crap.
I looked at Nick, who was watching me intently, and smiled. He smiled in return. He quickly grabbed his guitar, and turned to his brothers. They smiled at each other knowingly. I wondered in fear, what they were about to do to me.
Nick walked over to where I was sitting, inches away from my face. He looked me in the eyes, and then sang, "Hello beautiful, hows it going?"
I blushed a deep red. Their fans started to scream in excitement and then joined in with the rest of the song. I sang along also, making sure the mic couldnt capture my voice.
The sound check was amazing. I watched intently with the rest of the fans. I noticed how well they interacted with the fans, and was disappointed I hadnt had the chance to go to a sound check party before all this happened.
After the sound check, the boys had to go to their meet and greet. I stayed behind to let the make up team get me ready for tonight.
