How much heavy whipping cream do you use for one cake? And would you use one tsp of sugar?
-
how much powdered sugar would you put into the whipped cream?

watching this i remembered a tip i read once when trying to keep something cold as you work with it. you can make a mini freezer to put underneath it to keep it from melting....take a large pan/cookie sheet fill it with water and freeze, then while you frost this cake you can put the ice pan underneath. it might help a little with melting

you can also just put it back in the freezer if it starts to get soft. Working with ice cream cakes usually does require moving it in and out of the freezer - which is probably the easiest method.
1-2Tablespoons of powder sugar is all you need - you can decide based on how sweet you like it. Just remember the cake is incredibly sweet, so the whipped cream provides a nice balance. Thanks for asking... let me know how your cake turns out!
