Scotch'n'Soda Theatre's production of Stephen Sondhiem's "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" for Carnegie Mellon's Carnival 2008.

Following "Comedy Tonight" the play begins with the first scene and the song "Love, I Hear" goes right up until immediately before the song "Free"

  • these guys are great actors, dont get me wrong, but our sutulis probly did the best at this line "lets-start-a-fashion!" he'd snap his fingers and sway his hips while saying each word. it was the best line in the play!!

  • We did our best to stick to the script for legal/ethical purposes and to honor the work. We had a few brief moments of very subtle improvisation but rarely did we add an unwritten line.

  • Hahaha

  • I'm not sure I like this show on a thrust stage.

  • It's Pseudolus.

  • Are the boys wearing tights? Because it looks like they have very smooth legs which makes them seem very feminine other wise great job!!

  • My school just did this, and every other video on YouTube can't come close to what we did. This is the only one that might compare if the acoustics weren't so lousy; although I don't blame the actors for that one. =) I have some other critiques, like the portrayal of some of the characters, but meh, everyone's a critic, are they not?

  • What school is this?

  • Hmm. Were doing this at school at the moment...i dont like the characterisation on Domina in this production..

  • "I Should Be whipped, Gently" that was FUNNY!! ha ha ha lolz IDK why but that made me and my friend fall to the ground laughing that and the counting of the money...
