Let me think...the guitarist has got talent, and so has the rest of the band! Hendrix would not have played Machine Gun like that. Billy Cox just would not have played the same bass line over and over again. (You need to hear the many versions of Hendrix/Cox/Mitchell or Hendrix/Cox/Miles to see what I mean. Every version of Machine Gun that Hendrix and the guys did was different and every version was FANTASTIC! Thanks for posting BizzareSilence...I enjoyed it! :-)
can't possibly make a judgment by this. sound quality is too poor. i've seen other stuff by these guys and they are phenomenal! i know they're young which makes them even more impressive.
it doesnt sound like machine gun to me, it sounds like a jam. and the guitarist is the only one jamming, the bass and drums bored me. drums werent bad but the bass made me sleep.
the singing is alright i guess, their voices arent formed completely yet. so i guess that fucks up the singing pretty well.
as i said, the guitarist is just jamming, he isnt playing machine gun, it doesnt have the machine gun feeling or anything.
good jam but not a cover. the guitarist is good actually
ur dumb. this kids are sick. the guitars is freakin connected to this song dude, and the drummer pretty much got the song down, with some pretty good fills.
bass player and drummer are tight i can tell, bass keeps that constant beat flowing right along with the drummer.
Guitarist should connect with the sadness of the song a little bit more. Sounds like he's mostly just doing canned riffs that really don't fit with the context of the song, IMO. Still, he can definitely play!
Vocals, well...they aren't great. Bass and drums were just okay.
Overall, you guys seemed too timid for such an emotional song as Machine Gun. Maybe it was the crowd, I dunno.
That being said, you all did better than most covers I've heard.
