  • Ground Power Unit dash 60, provides 28 VDC, 120 VAC 60hz, 120 VAC 400 Hz, and compressed air for starting a turbine engine. Powered by a small turbine engine, which is started with an electric motor. They have been around forever because they work.

  • @driftingranger Nope, we don't even like Sheppard. No one like Sheppard! I've been here 5 years and am yet to find someone

  • someone got ran over by one of those about 2 months ago here.

  • @tannerstap i don't think there is a single person who liked that base except the instructors.

  • @Khmerican1 dude, its for just about all fighters, not just the F-16. u wanna hear something loud, listen to an f-15 take off....

  • Didn't think the Airforce had the dash 60 any more. used it many times on an ec 135 for starts, we also used cartridge starts on alert in the 80s
