" I do not hide your righteousness in my heart; I speak of your faithfulness and salvation. I do not conceal your love and your truth from the great assembly." - Psalm 40:10
@madgenhetic he may have a brilliant mind, but he seems like a terrible person. he creates a game called fuck you buddy, and if you read wikipedia, he left his first lover whom he had an affair with and his first child. he just LEFT them and started another family four years later. i'm not so sure if he is to be considered respectable. btw the film is heavily biased and makes the audience want to like him
@thelifeuwant well, game theory is not meant to be a way to live (a personal way to live) but if you mix game theory, with group theory, then you can understand why it can be used for mass prediction.
although I can see that some aspects of Game theory could be used in situations of war or in dealing with people whom you don't know anything about, or with people whom you have discovered are not trust worthy. it should not be the standard with which society should operate. that is my opinion :)
although the Game theory and prisoners dilemma seem to make sense logically on the surface. it does not take into account other factors that are lost because of pure selfishness and complete lack of trust. in situations of mutual trust peace of mind abounds and a sense of connection with others is prominent. I always test new people I meet with small tests of trust to see if they are trust worthy. if they prove they are I consider it a great gift to have them in my life. honor, trust, truth..

By selfishness he means homo economicus, which is defined as the one who makes rational decisions all the time without exception.
Oh yes, let's manipulate words to make one of the brightest living mind of our time a selfish bastard.
