@grossda410 God put that there so we would wonder because he knows what curious creatures we humans are.

@TheRealRoxette Please enlighten us with documentation of that lab test. As a fine gentleman like yourself must understand that we can't simply take your word for it.
-
@webfulfill Yes, and as an unemployed bum, i'll admit, this has me stumped to
-
@EricdeRode I'm not a closed minded scientist. I'll entertain any theory no matter how crazy. I don't see how if Saturn were hollow that mean it would have a hexagon, unless it was artifically put there which is the best explanation I have to date. I don't buy into theories which say this is explainable as a special case of fluid dynamics. It might happen by accident for a few days, but not 20 years! The wind is making angled turns at 150+ kph!

@webfulfill - If you're sincerely interested, let me help you a bit. All round objects in space are HOLLOW. Do your research, don't believe mainstream opinions based on old and false dogma's. Eric.

Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky, Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die, One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie. One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.

As a physicist, this makes no sense at all... I am stumped.
-
@Aetila This is funny because it is literally just as likely an explanation as a "god".
-
@grossda410 Just because we have the intellectual honesty to admit "we don't know everything" does NOT mean that a god exists. That is a logical fallacy called "argument from ignorance, where essentially, "we don't understand x, therefore y." We DO have theories backed by mountains of evidence. We know that the big bang occurred, and that was the beginning of the universe as we know it now.
So stop making a complete ass of yourself by asking categorically stupid questions. Thanks.
It's not unexplainable, a mystery, or sacred. It's caused by the crossing of two jet streams and the fast spinning of air around the poles. They've duplicated it in a lab. It used to be round, but since the air system is slowing down a bit, it takes on the appearance of being a hexagon, but it's not a perfect hexagon, far from it. Anyone who says it's anywhere near perfect, is lying.
