  • How do they program the announcement to say"This is a Winchester Train" or This is a southbound train?

  • @comatusfilms As Oran said, same manufacturer so ride quality on both are pretty good. VTA uses older models, obviously.

  • @comatusfilms They are very close in terms of actual ride smoothness as the trains of both were manufactured by Kinkisharyo. I prefer Link's interior and exterior over VTA's gaudy and boxy white. Too bad most of it is surrounded by low-density office parks.

  • @sherwelthlangley I know that it was poorly implemented, I've ridden the Santa Teresa-Alum Rock line a few times. What I'm asking is whether the Link Light Rail in Seattle is as pleasant a riding experience.

  • @comatusfilms VTA is clean and smooth but poorly designed.

  • Such a clean, quiet-smooth, and underutilized system. It's like a ride to me. Is Link as smooth and quiet as the VTA?
