  • "Tak for en fantastisk serie."

Had a really good time at the Q&A, and they were so good to pose for so many photos and sign so many DVDs.

  • @Schnorbs It was great wasn't it! They were lovely :) Were you in a blue shirt, stood up and said something in Danish and Søren asked if you were actually Danish? :) If so, we were on the same train to Clapham Junction, sat opposite you :)

  • Thanks for uploading this, Sermoa! I love Sofie and Søren, they're both so talented and gorgeous, and seem extremely nice. The audience isn't very good, though. What's with the stony silences and asking Søren about working with von Trier when he HASN'T worked with him? Bad audience, bad interviewer, weird powerpoint slides, but these two are great. And it's strange (in a good way!) to hear them speaking English. What a treat. :)

  • @YadotYadEht This was just a tiny part of the Q&A. It was actually a question for Sofie, who made a very good answer and then passed over to Søren which is the bit i filmed.

There were many other fantastic questions and compliments on the whole series: the acting, the storyline, the direction, the filming, the soundtrack ... there were a lot of very delighted fans there and this isn't a very representative clip. Just a tiny bit that i happened to record.

  • @YadotYadEht they are so cute together, Sofie kept touching Søren affectionately, and they laughed all the time. They speak English very well, don't they? :)

Danish is rel. closely related to Old English and even Middle English,

and there (der) are (er) many (mange) similar words as well (vel) as rather

similar basic grammars, so (så) English is fairly easy for (for) us (os) Danes

to pick up (op). And then we (vi) also hear (hør) E a lot on TV and radio

and in films, because we don't use dubbing here (her), but have (have)

    subtitles instead ( i-sted(et) ).

Dubbing is for children ...... and Germans ;-)

  • i missed this event?!

  • @sermoa Yes, that was me. On my way back to Croydon.

  • @Fa1th5by5 that's great, thanks! i should join that page :)

  • @sermoa That's so sweet. :) I'm glad they had a good time, because this clip was a wee bit excruciating in terms of the audience's reaction! (or lack thereof) I wish I could find more interviews with them online. They deserve loads of appreciation and fansites.

  • @JSULLY2008 He'd be joking, surely! Actors make that kinda joke all the time.
