White-water rafting on the Skykomish River in Gold Bar, Washington just outside of Seattle. This video is of Boulder Drop on the main section of the Skykomish. The Sky can be run from 800cfs all the way to the commercial cut-off 14,000cfs when only a select few outfitters and guests take the challenge.

  • Morrixwill32: Strap across bottom cheating? Lets see you climb out of 36 degree water on top of an upside down raft at 8,000cfs, re-flip climb back in the raft and R1 to pick up your guests. If so... your hired!

  • @AlpineRiverRunners Well If you are serious i am looking for a job this summer, and 32 degree water is somthing i handle pretty well, and as far as climbing back on the raft to rescue the crew.... if you can't you should not be guiding ;) hit me up if you want another excperienced tallented and fun guide

  • @AlpineRiverRunners PS. great little vid looks like a blast

  • man, i really want to run the sky just for this rapid. i dunno if you guys are familiar with Joe Garret up in Snohomish? I've run a few rivers with his group and he trained me as a guide, but not on anything as cold as the sky. this just looks too awesome. besides, you know what they say; there are two kinds of guides: those who have flipped, and those who are going to. i haven't, yet, but this rapid definitely looks like one to make or break that record.

  • hahahahaha, 3:58, a bit lucky an oar didn't brake or hit you in the head or something. Nicely done! I love you ALPINE!

  • Hi! Did you use Final Cut Pro...? This is awesome!!

  • WOW!

  • Strap is already across the bottom?! Seems almost like cheatin ;)
