fire started around 1pm today, believe it was caused by a cigarette, under investigation by the RCMP .
Fireman responded from Salisbury, Petticodiac , Elgin, Havelock, Riverview and Moncton fire depts. The couple lost everything in the fire, and had no insurance. CRC is supplying the couple with a RV to live in for now.

  • Fire department save another basement?

  • @VinPre16 Your spelling is pretty poor. I don't see any major problems, maybe a little slow getting water, but looks like they had to extend the line. Nozzleman should've gone to straight stream, but not the worst mistake. This was an unoccupied demo home, it's gonna be a total loss. They probably don't have the manpower to go interior, at least initially. It could be they've got a new guy on the nozzle, we all been that guy. They did what they could, Kudos. Ugly ass fire truck though...

  • Looks like he was new. By the way the other guys was telling him where to direct the water. Also from showing they are useing a tender for water shuttle. They needed to save water till the tender arrived.

  • Dobrze wam tak tępi grubi amerykanie, dalej budujcie domy z papieru

  • My department is the same on the bad days of no man power. I think they did a good job considering everything working against them. It was a defensive fire anyways already well involved.

  • @beranek57 sorry I ment the driveway

  • that truck is WAY over 85db you all should have hear protection on rofl

  • Lots of Monday morning quarterbacks...small volunteer department in suburban area (aka daytime response issues). Two firefighters on first due rig...no hydrants. Exposures WERE trailers on (B or #2) side...but owners moved them prior to initial attack. Demo modular home... fire resistive const. 400' Engine to fire...good job considering lack of manpower..and mutual aid 15 mins + away. End result still going to be same...no injuries..and good video. Yep...was there !

  • fireman are great to us

  • nice job... you did a great job conserving water... thats what its all about where i come from... you dont put out smoke...
