Looks like regular boxing to me. Am I missing something?

Awareness is the most important, being aware of your surroundings and not getting yourself in a sticky situation in the first place, failing that fight like an animal and when the opportunity arises RUN.

@gjc82071 my point being, most ppl wouldnt actually kill someone else, no matter how justafiable

Depends on how much pressure you were applying. You'de have to MAKE home believe it, lol. As for "u aint about to break some dudes neck". Well, if your life was being threatened, as it very well might be considering you're simultaneously being attacked by a multitude of people, you would be justified in your actions (self defense). I don't know man. It was just a theory. Short of an Uzi, hand grenade, etc, there is no sure fire, 100% effective way, to deal with multiple attackers.

@gjc82071 good luck getting ur adrenalinepumped hostage to actually believe you would do it. also, unless u actually WILL do it, they most likely wont think ur serious. and lets face it, u aint about to break som dudes neck

In a multiple attack situation, it's generally stressed NOT to "grapple", however, I wonder if you were able to get 1 of the attackers in a neck lock & then yell "back off!, or I snap your buddy's neck like a twig!" (in combo with your victim yelling "back off! He means it!), would/could that strategy work/help you? There is really not much you can do against 3-4 guys. Once 1 or 2 grab your arms & the others start hitting you, you're F^@%ed. I sorta like back into a corner/protect your back.

In a multiple attack situation, you want to, if possible (KEY words: "IF possible") spend the least amount of time on each attacker, while delivering the most lethal attacks possible. I'd recommend a multitude of "cheap shots". Eye gouges, ear bites, finger breaking, etc. You'd want to disable each opponent for as long as possible so as to concentrate on the next/others. Also, with multiple attackers you could TRY & be cornered, for diminished AoA's. RUNNING is probably the best defense.
being attacked by Multiple attackers is the most common way of beaing beaten on the streets no martial arts cover this very real and common attack jui jitsu and other grapaling / subision styles are only good in a one on one fight not realistic on the streets the only martial art wat covers this subject is Krav Maga and even that is lacking in a good defence system in a true situation like this

Against multiple opponents no, You want to remain mobile using submission technique leaves you vulnerable to the other attackers. kicks are possible but wouldn't recommend anything other than low kicks or midriff kicks to help keep your oppenent at bay and prevent them from gaining a advantage from a sloppy high kick
