This video follows the Sugarloaf Parkway extension from S.R. 20/Grayson Highway SW to New Hope Road SE, a distance of about two (2) miles. The parkway will be extended from this temporary terminus to S.R. 316/University Parkway NE. It will be a full-freeway, its entire length east of Grayson Highway.

  • what os the speedlimit here

  • @Jean1juan

The speed limit at the time this video was shot was 45, but it is now 55.

  • A suggestion, show a map at the beginning like Freewaybrent and I do, I had no idea where his was at first :P Nice video otherwise!

  • Thanks for the suggestion. I'll take that into consideration.

    Thanks for the compliment. ;-)

  • that is a good high way, i love it, drive on limit and be safe.

  • This is nice., Chicago has the worse expressways and traffic jams and the most idiotic drivers.

  • @Need4Camaro

Yeah, the Atlanta area needs more freeways; there are far too many surface arterials connecting cities here.

The Sugarloaf Parkway extension will give south Gwinnett residents easier access to the Interstate system. But 316 needs major connectivity/drivability improvements.

Ronald Reagan Pkwy is actually one of my favorite expressways. Atlanta needs more expressways like it too. Its basically just an avenue with exit ramps. But it certainly keeps traffic moving and it would definately help to impliment expressways like it between suburban cities, like between Stockbridge and Conyers, Conyers and Lawrenceville ect...

As for this project - I like freeways, but I kinda think this one is pointless, They need to invest the money on upgrading 316...
