This is short video of the strange vibration in the left tailboom support strut on my Blade 400. I have done just about everything you can think of to get rid of it, to no avail so far....
I have the same problem, though it has gotten better after loosening my tail belt, but still there. I have a brand new tail shaft, brand new main and tail blades, new flybar, feathering shaft, main shaft, belt, tail drive gear, the list goes on.
check the tail rotor shaft as these bend really easily and if left will cause bearing failure and you will lose tail control in flight
to check tail vibes, simply remove the blades and spool her up if you get vibes still then remove the tail blades, the vibes should reduce but still be present, this indicates that the tail rotor shaft is bent slightly, in some cases you can straighten it with pliers, but best just replace with new ones
Have you checked the tail there could be a balance issue somewhere in that area. I had the same problem with my Trex 600N and it ended up being a bent tail hub, also check the bearings in the tail case.
