This video shows you the heart of the longwire antenna. This antenna has been desinged for receiving usage from 100kHz until 30MHz. This antenna will be delivered from "Berlinfunk" ( owner: Klaus Kranich DL7LET ) either with 16mtr ( 52,5ft), 35mtr (115ft) or 43mtr (141ft) finest antenna wire. The SO-239 jack is rainproof, so your antenna cable is safe connected.Capable for QRP transmission in LW/MW and the lower shortwave band in connection with an antenna tuner. Max. input is 10 Watts input. A "must have" if you really and seriously like to listen to the mentioned frequencies ! Have fun, vy 73 de Klaus http://www.berlinfunk.de/langdrahtantenne.html
A later coming video will show you the longwireantenna mounted on my antenna mast in collaboration with my YAESU FRG-7
