Why is it elapids' venom is so much more potent than viper venom? Do neurotoxins need to work harder to do their job than hemotoxins?

thank you very much for posting... it is very interesting made and informative for ppl what would like to know more about TX snakes... btw red thouch yellow, red thouch black is just true in north america... if you go to the south in the jungles, don't think about this rule.... there live also coralsnakes, with red to black... Micrurus frontalis for ex...
