The disaster this week at a BP oil rig has drilled away any credibility British Petroleum tried to manufacture during their "Beyond Petroleum" greenwashing campaign. The disaster is already being called worse than the 1989 Exxon Valdez incident.

  • Fuck these bastards, I hope they burn in hell!

  • I don't think it is a coincidence either. One website says that Kuwait owns 27% of BP whose central offices are in London. It also said that 95% of BP's oil comes from the US. There profits increased 135% in the first quarter of 2010 according to another site. The problem is not solved yet and is still growing in magnitude. Way I figure, 27% of Kuwait and all that is left of the British empire should make a nice down payment on restitution. Further restitution will have to come from who?

  • i love their new British po(u)nd in Mexico!!

is it a currency or a sea?

  • Never want to see any industry environmental destruction of any kind again? Withhold 85% of CEO's and top management's pay. Only pay it back in full two years after they retire or leave the company and no damage appears. Don't worry, it won't cramp their lifestyle, they'd still be taking home more in a week what you make a year.

  • omg! what the hell. they need to take care of this now. just sickening.

  • Anyone that believes the B.P. ads must be gullible enough to believe the fricking bible!

  • Well put and edited.

  • The split screen makes the point so well...

  • Excellent work

  • Thank you for this, TP2.

I just decided this morning to go back to school and study conservation and sustainability management. We have to fix problems like this. While we still have a planet.

    Faved.
