@darylcha Well in your description you are running that you are running 255's in the back so I assume that you are running stock size in front 215's? That could be the reason of your understeer. Nevertheless, very good run indeed and if nothing else having a car that understeers is easier to control and thus might produce faster laps than loosing the back end all the time.

I have the ASM canards and lip. The lip is kind of a splitter design, and I can feel the difference with it, but I wouldn't call it anywhere as effective as a legit splitter. I did "complete" the ASM setup with a custom front undertray that featured venturis at the wheel-well and extended to cover the entire engine bay, and that was a really awesome setup. I highly recommend an undertray for this kind of setup.

@darylcha did you use canards or splitter?

No the hardtop does nothing to understeer imo. The understeer is on both low and high speed corners, but low speed is likely to be driver error/induced. The high speed is from lack of front downforce which I worked on since then but never came around posting a new video.

@darylcha Did you say that the hard top had something to do with your understeer? Is she understeering in low or high speed corners? Thank for any input. I'm looking to set up my s2k and it's a concern of mine.(looking for a ever so slight oversteer.1)

that looks like a ton of fun. Nice driving man, cant wait to do this in my S one day.
It sounds like you need to get some suspension your tires are loosing traction a lot on turns...and get some bf goodrich tires g-force tkd and im sure with those you will get that time of 1:57

good run! from what i can see your setup has way too much understeer and you turn in until understeer on every turn. it may be that your setup is giving you bad habbits. id aim to turn in less and try and correct your setup to be more neutral. is your rear sway bar stock? if theyre stock try a bigger one up front, if they arent try the stock one in the rear, if you have done this already good luck : D. good run!

I have to say I agree with you, and my steering (esp turn-in) seems to be very rough because of this. I did change the setup since then by adding more front df and that really helped a lot. my sway bars were stock in the video.
