Jack Johnson cover. I love the whole Brushfire Fairytales album. Played on a "new" old guitar. They were going to throw it out at the place I work, and so I took it home and had my dad glue it together. Now it is MINE...muhahaha! :)
You have such a beautiful voice, its so distinct and very controlled!! I actually love this rendition better than the original, because this song works well with your voice and style. Please continue sharing your wonderful talent with the world, and I hope you go really far in life with it! <3 Thank you so much for sharing with us (i listened to this song like 8 times over :)
yes! amazing. a really controlled tone which works so well with his music, but you have the added hint of glamour in your voice which is a delightful addition to this song. really cool. the contrast between the softness of the nylon strings and the harsh tone in your voice is so fresh. phrasing= awesome too. haha sorry about the over-analytical comment, that's what happens when you're a design student!

u know, scribbie...i sang this song to my philosophy class once :] i love it!
and why did i do it? well..coz it symbolizes the change ive gone thru while studying. before i started out-i didnt pay attention to the lyrics..but then-i noticed this song talks bout stuff i studied! Plato's Cave=Go wiki that! its a philosophical tale bout how we live. Very interesting. sergei eisenstein was a film editor-known for "chopping his frames like an axe". this song is full of great meanings :]
Hi Elad! Long time! Yeah, I do know about Plato's cave and Eistenstein. I think I found a website at some point that analyzed JJ's songs from a philosophical point of view. I should read up on Plato's cave though, I heard about it a long time ago and probably forgot the real meaning:)
