  • MORON!,

You feel bad about killing americans in video games but it's ok to kill others? First of all it's a video game it's ok to kill anyone. In real life ITS NOT okey to kill ANYONE no matter were they're from.

America doesn't stand above the law or anything!

  • amzing visuals, frigging annoying song :)

PLEASE STOP with this music EVERYWHERE !

  • that is a scary chopper...

  • @zauii89

Agreed. I don't suppose Russians feel too good about being the "bad guys" in recent games like Bad Company 2 and Modern Warfare 2, where they get killed by the droves.

  • 5 people dont know a good sim when they see one ;-)

Because your 2 rotors advance in opposite ways. So, at a certain helicopter speedn on the lowest rotor, the advancing blade got a lot of velocity (it's own velocity added to the chopper's velocity), so more lift. On the other hand, the blade in the same position on the upper rotor is going backward, so it has it's own velocity minus the chopper velocity, and less lift. And at a certain point, the lowest rotor blade lift enough to reach the "almost non lifting" upper rotor blade.

The biggest problem with counter rotative rotors is that in high G manoeuver, the lower rotor blades can lift enough to reach the upper rotor blades and in that case, as they rotate in different directions, they can destroy each other. And above a certain speed (around 300 km/h in calm and average temperature air), it's the same, the lowest rotor can get high enough to reach the uppest rotor.

    Still, beautiful beast.

    you're the best :/

    amazing, i love it.

  • @TsDomain err why counter rotative? that copter has 2 rotors; running opposite directions; to counter the gyro effect you would have in a normal copter. Now; you still need some serious horsepower and structure (the G's could just rip the rotors out lol) to accomplish a loop in a chopper... that thing is a beast.
