I suggest soya milk lovers to visit soyamilkmachine . net for more information, recipes and advices to make soya milk in 20 mins! Sit back and relax and it's done. The machine did it ALL for me!

Wow that's quite a bit of work. I think using a soya machine is WAY neater and convenient.

It helps if you sieve it first. gets all the bits out(well most of it). Only managed to get two pints out of 1 to 3.5 cups twice. Hardly seems worth it for the hassle and shop soya is only £0.59 a litre where I live. Still it is free of all the rubbish the shop puts in it.

i think they call it soy milk cuz it looks abit like milk.

8:13. we call it that because it is used as an alternative to milk. In england, it is called soya, or soya alternative to milk ,because it is not a milk
Good video! My favorite parts;
I love the part when you light the gas.
I love the fact that you didn't strain it!
I love the quote "And now is the time when a man becomes... a man that has made soymilk"

Lol, glad you liked it :-)

Sorry I forgot to tell you to strain the pulp when I gave you the recipe. The pulp is a good source of protein and fiber for other uses.
I also usually put in a teaspoon of vanilla per quart. I don't add any sweetener. Of course, you can do what you like to make it suit your taste.
Also, it's not really that much work to make.

Hey, it is a lot of work Pal! Are you aware that a soymilk maker can do all the work for you automatically?

Lol, yeah... although if you buy it from a store you don't get that home made freshness :-P
