  • @HaloHedgehog22 It is wood... does it need to be "sterilized"? Basically, you could probably soak it in really hot water (probably as hot as you can get it in your faucet) with some soap, basically, as you would do your dishes normally (unless you have a dishwasher). Though, as long as you don't use any stains, you should be fine as wood stains are poisonous. Although, this is just a theory, you could soak it in coffee or tea to achieve a darker look.

  • @ActaSanctorum Thats very nice! you must be a very do it yourself type of person.

I recently started making native american artifacts as well (talking sticks with totem animals, and a next project is a gunstock warclub. BTW You should post some vids of your work. Would love to check it out

  • @condorlegion89 I make my own tools for spoon and bowl carving. I recreate Native American artifacts like ladles and bowls, so it comes in handy for that also. I also make crooked knives for other carvers.

  • @ActaSanctorum I was gonna go for bending a short blade knife

but ten finally got my hands on a real carving tool from the hardware store, it works great on all the projects, love it. Do you make your own? what do you carve?

  • @condorlegion89 Yes Condor. Many people use a farrier's Hoof knife as a crooked knife. other options include getting flat tool steel and grinding/forging your own. That would be way to produce a spoon knife (for the bowl) like his

  • is it posible to make your own bent knife?

  • How do you sterilize so you can eat with it?
