@Mariashadia I think that was before she became a kindergarten teacher. DH2 shows three years after DH1 cast left Kirin High, which would be around 2014 or 2015, and this scene is all the way in 2018.

I think they just put that line in there to show the viewers that Pilsuk gained weight again. Pilsuk also says she doesn't care what the media says about her weight, because she's the happiest she's ever been, and Jason says "me too". This also shows that they're together.
