  • I just read the book by June Cross and had to look this up. Thanks so much, really made me smile!!

  • I read an interview stumpy did with linda kuel some years ago about his friendship with lady Day and i just wondered what he looked like. But he seems to have totally fell off the map I must wonder what was the story ....sigh

  • When I was coming of age, I used to hear relatives and some of the "old-timers" in Harlem speak of this duo. They apparently were staples at the Apollo theatre back in the day. This is the first chance I've ever had to see them. Really nice.

  • So glad I decided to put Stump and Stumpy in the search box...I'd only seen a teeny clip of 'em years ago but remembered and wished for more and now my wish has been granted!

  • This is GREAT!

  • love this!!

  • Priceless
