I saw the special on espn and literally cried my eyes out. A man died doing what he loved I and only hope i die the same way.

@MrSlik25 His heart was in cardiac arrythmia. It wasn't his lungs. Standing him up woutd've been the worst thing to do. He had hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and unfortunately, his doctors let him play with this condition. The condition is often mis-diagnosed, especially with athletes as it often mimics athlete's heart.

@TheBlackcat239 Its crazy because maybe if they stand him up his breathing and blood flows differently and maybe he doesnt die...maybe his head clears and he can fill his lungs better...its easier to just relax and let go when you are laying there...i think and wish they would have stood him up and got him a quik drink of water...You never know...but when God calls he calls rip baller.
