It's not in north-east London, it's in south-east London, and it wasn't ever a cathedral, just for the record, it was an ordinary Church of England parish church. It was built starting in 1879 but not completed until 1932! Pretty surplus from the start. The parish had been merged with St Philips nearby in 1965 due to the decline in church attendance( all over the UK) in that period. Islam, Pentecostalism and seventh-day Adventism are the popular flavours of worship in this area these days.

islam is evil and must be stopped. i am not speaking from a position of ignorance; on the contrary when i was younger i admired islam and even thought of converting myself. but then i looked deeper into islam and islamic history and all i could see was an violent cult started by an arabian warlord (mohammed) and the quran as nothing more than a political manifesto that he and his successors used to create an empire by force. in my opinion, i have seen the truth - and that is that islam is evil.
