Forever [IIL Season 2] Chapter 45

*Nick’s P.O.V.*

“Thanks, Rai. I thought I could just go ahead and take all the basic classes until I can figure out what I want to do,” he said. I shrugged and sighed, taking it all in. What a rush.
“So... you’re going to live here?” I asked, happy and sad at the same time.
“That’s right,” he said while smirking. “Don’t worry, we’ll all get along great. As long as you guys have gummy worms, pixie sticks, milk, and a coffee grinder.”
“Um, coffee grinder?” I asked. He’s so random.
“I like to eat grinded coffee beans with milk,” he said. Railey and I stared at him like he was crazy, mostly because he WAS crazy.
“Okay... then. I’ll show you your room, Joe.”
“Alright, thanks Rai.”
“Mhm,” she said. They walked into Tori’s old room as I stayed on the couch. Joe’s going to live with us? AND go to the same college as us? Damn. I mean... YES!

Railey came back out and sat down beside me.
“Do you want him to live here? I can easily tell him no,” I said. She shook her head.
“No, no. I like Joe. He’s funny and doesn’t take things serious. I don’t see how he’ll cause us problems,” she said. I nodded.
“Alright,” I said. Joe walked out with the stupidest hat ever on his head. It was one of those paper Burger King crowns.
“I know I’ve already asked a lot for a day, but do you guys mind if Felecia comes and lives with us? She can stay in my room and I promise she won’t be a problem-”
“No,” I cut him off. Railey gave me a look of disapproval.
“Of course she can, Joe.”
“Thanks, Rai!” he said while doing a fist pump. Great. Joe AND Joe’s girlfriend, Felecia, are all moving in. I’ve only seen Felecia once, so I can’t be one to judge. But if Joe OR Felecia screws anything up, it won’t be good.
“So, why are you wearing that... crown... on your head?” Railey asked. He took it off.
“This? Oh, because... I’m the king,” he casually said. We laughed at him.

*Railey’s P.O.V.*

Later that night, Felecia came over and informed Joe that she would be staying in the room right across from ours. He was sad, but that only lasted for about 15 seconds.
“I’m heading to bed,” Nick said while walking past me.
“Okay, I’ll be in there in a minute,” I said. I knocked on Joe’s door then walked in.
“Hey, what’s up?” he greeted my while pulling his headphones off. I smiled and looked around. The place was already filled up with his stuff and was looking nice.
“Oh, nothing. Just came to see if you needed anything?”
“I’m fine, thanks Rai,” he assured me.
“So, when are you going to start class?”
“Next week.”
“Oh, cool. Well, Nick and I leave between 6:00 - 6:30 AM. I get home at 2:00 and he gets home around 4:00.”
“Alright. Well, I’m gonna try to sleep. Night, Rai.”
“Goodnight, Joe..” I said while closing the door behind me. I walked into our bedroom and crawled into bed beside Nick.
“I don’t like him living here,” Nick stated. I propped myself up.
“And why’s that?”
“I don’t know, it just doesn’t feel right...” he said. I softly pressed my lips against his.
“Everything will be fine, Nick. Don’t worry,” I assured him. I laid down as he gently kissed me again.
“I love you,” he said. I softly smiled at him while he pressed his lips another time against mine.
“Someone’s kiss-a-tive tonight,” I said. He smiled and laid down. I laid my head on his warm, toned chest and drifted off to sleep.
