Well, well done to her then, as with any test age js always taken into account . I hope she's still alive and going strong. We actually have a 73 old black belt 3rd Dan in our club but he started when he was in his late 40's .

@amcroz GKR reloves around money, mate, I have been training for 7 years, £6.00 per class I pay, so do Millions of others, It is aweful. so much so while Kancho filies around in his Helicopter, I am still waiting for my Black Belt Assessment.

@faceplant78 the person was being trained to teach the class and would be helping the sensei hence they are called a sempi and they dont wear a black belt it is a black and white teaching belt, and they are only given that honour if the area sensei agrees with the sensei that teaches them on a regular basis that they show potential to become a sensei.
I haven been with GKR for 10 years now and it is definitely not a money making franchise

I think what is going on there Billysharp is they have been told to spar 10% pace only mate this happens a lot even with high grade belts.
