Since methane is beautiful molecule but rare compared to what's out there,I'd rather hear first the sound of hydrogen and helium 1st and then perhaps look after more "complicated" stuff.
I guess if u put "the sound" of dark matter you'd be famous haha :)

I love that "listening to what your eyes hear"

That's a common misconception. If anything it was the combination of the two factors. However, the Hydrogen was a much bigger factor than the paint.
The mythbusters tested it. They found that, while the paint was flammable, it was not flammable enough on its own to destroy the zeppelin.

NOBODY CARES ABOUT THE FRIGGING HINDENBURG!!
-
hindenburg accidentally touched electrical wire and the spark caused the hydrogen to start burning. oh just stop this meaningless arguement

cellulose acetate butyrate and aluminum powder.

"Hydrogen caused the fire in the first place."
How exactly did hydrogen do that? Was it not the combination of hydrogen and oxygen which did that?
-
Nothing burn without oxygen it is what sustains the flame. However it was hydrogen that cuased the fire in the first place oxygen just kept it burning.

No the Hindenburg was a Zeppelin. Basically it was an elongated hotair ballon and behaved the same way. The difference being that ballons use hot air while the Hindenburg used Hydrogen. It caught fire becuase Hydrogen is a highy flammable gas. Rocket fuel would have been to heavy to fly. Using rocket fuel would have turned it into a gaint "water ballon"

So over 300,000 people want to watch a video on the sound of Hydrogen, but when I walk into a room and introduce people to the sound of methane they get pissed at me. What is the difference?
