I don't know about that. I've seen stock e55s dip into the low 12's high 11's with a 117mph trap.

I have yet to see a C5 Z06 trap that.

The later model E55 AMG is very fast, and so is the C5 Z06.

I have raced my buddy's 469hp E55 AMG in my bolt-on Z06 many times, and he was always a couple car-lengths behind. However, from the line it would be a different story since C5Z06 (6-speed) are very hard to launch perfectly. From a roll it would be 50/50 situation. Although C5Z06 is quicker on paper, the E55 AMG may win most of the time due to more hp/torque, easier driveability, etc. Both are great cars and pretty evenly matched.

c6 zr1 = 635 horse power,  but the Benz makes a good grocery getter, if the husband is in the s550
