Director: James Frost, OK Go and Syyn Labs.
Producer: Shirley Moyers.
The official video for the recorded version of "This Too Shall Pass" off the album "Of the Blue Colour of the Sky". The video was filmed in a two story warehouse, in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA. The "machine" was designed and built by the band, along with members of Syyn Labs ( http://syynlabs.com/ ) over the course of several months.
There is an in-depth behind-the-scenes look at the warehouse here: http://www.okgo.net/this-too-shall-pass-rube-goldberg-machine/
OK Go thanks State Farm for making this video possible.

  • I get this video, I think!

The Universe is like the Rube Goldberg machine.

You can't have all of the great stuff that happens in the universe without also having the bad, like the paint to the face at the end.

It's all part of a system that you can't control, and you can't keep letting the bad stuff get you down when it happens to you.

Think about all the amazing things that happen because of that first domino falling.

Maybe I've just watched it too many times!

  • Anyone else get here from the sample link on youtuberepeat?
