  • Okay so I have a Male Betta fish I have a ten gallon tank just like that so wat if I go to petco and get a female would the fight after I let her out of the jar!???

  • @togos2000 Use a mirror to confuse your female betta, keep a mirror in front of it so that its attention is diverted and then use a slight larger net. What type of tank do you have?

The says that it has more information in w ww.bettafish-care.info . In deed it has a lot of information in there.

  • @missrocknrolljazz you will likely get more than 50 that you can sell and keep :)

  • Oh, also... My female is good at escaping being scooped out of the water :/ any suggestions on how I should get her out after spawning? (w/o disturbing the nest of course)

  • My female is a pale color so I cannot see stripes on her at all. Is there another way I can tell that she is carrying the eggs and ready for spawning? She and my male definitely like each other and the nest is almost complete.

  • @missrocknrolljazz : i asked the same thing today at the pet store and they said at least 12 minimum.

  • My male betta made a bubblenest under air pump

  • How many fry do you usually get? I hope about 2-3 because I don't think its in my budget to buy like 8 tanks. I have a divider tank, which my male is in. I can afford about another two tanks, fine by me. My female in one, my male in the other. The divider tank will take two. One other for the last fry. Also, once I put my 3-month-older's tank next to my 2-day-old and my young one was hiding. My elder guy also swims SUPER crazy. Will he eat my baby girl during the spawning?

  • Sorry I ment she not he

  • That how my female is to should I put he in the tank with male yet ?
