  • @micha1rw yeah light pollution is everywhere now.You could go up to Lanier and the mts. and it would be pitch black at night in a remote area.You couldnt see your hand in front of your face.But man ,could you see the stars and the milky way.Thanks to urban sprawl ,even in remote areas you can see the city lights on the horizon

    for the original Mike Crowley Written and recorded version.

    The original song was commissioned, approved and adopted by then Mayor McNichols, recorded and performed by Mike Crowley who, along with KBTV, KUSA in Denver gave all the rights to the song to the City of Denver and the people of colorado and was distributed on 45rpm records at Safeway stores
