Crossing Trailer in English

Based on the real-life accounts of numerous North Korean refugees, the film centers on a family of three, the husband, Yong-soo, his wife, and their 11-year-old son. When Yong-soo's wife becomes seriously ill, he travels across the border into China in search of medicine but is ultimately forced to become a refugee in South Korea. Meanwhile, his ailing wife weakens through malnutrition and his son, desperate, decides to cross the desert in search of father.

PSALT is a non-profit ministry dedicated to increasing awareness about the crisis in North Korea and mobilizing resources and action to aid those who are suffering.
PSALT is working with the U.S. producers of 'Crossing' to promote this film and raise awareness about the plight of North Korean refugees.

@eyu57 Hi! A lot of groups do quote that price. Actually for PSALT we quote $1,500 to save one person because this is the bare minimum cost for food, shelter, care, etc. We do this work through our own (not using brokers) with experienced folks who truly care for the refugees and have been helping NK refugees well over a decade and don't do this work for profit.

its movies like this should rock the "Hallyu" it sickens me what people send their money on these days and what they call talent and good acting/singing.

i didnt even watch this movie yet, but a good script, a real life story of REALITY is what should be out there and known. Im so watching this, and later even buying it for sure!

Just wanted to let anyone know that is interested...that this movie is available on ebay for $8.99 with english subtitles from China...$5.00 US to ship to Canada...if you want to buy it...the trailer was very powerful I bought the movie immediately...another good movie is slumdog millionaire and water by depa meta...there is so much tragedy in the world as a whole...I never understand the pain and suffering that goes on between one man and another...these movies are one way to get involved...C

watching this movie make me realize how lucky we r to not being born in north korean. some day i want to meet an north korean person and i want to ask then y they escape north korean. im sure it not only for freedom but there got to be more to it then freedom. and let us all pay for the north korean to one have better future for it ppl. PS hope and love from brother in the south
