You're using the "in-air" mouse control incorrectly.
You move your iPhone sideways and up/down.
In fact, you should keep it still, and just tilt the iPhone the way you want the cursor to go.
It bugged me too, until I figured it out. :)

bad ass tv setup, is that the tv stand where the tv mount is connected to the stand? and can it swivel?
