  • Skratchworx, I love the 3 camera angles.

  • @gilboogie Me too. It's more by accident as I wanted to get this posted, but haven't got the time right now to do any fancy editing. It came out much better that I thought. Another style to add into the repertoire.

  • is that Gizmo in the beginning? that would be the first time I saw his face in 3 years of visiting Skratchworx

  • @audioh0lic That's me.

  • @audioh0lic It's not about me though - it's about the gear. I just write about this stuff.

  • really not that impressed with the 61 but the 62 is def an improvement on the 57... I wish the 68 would have had more effects

  • These are stupid expense, I hope the 56 goes down in price

  • @enforce007 "limited amount of space" was about youtube only letting me type so many characters

  • @djbigwiz dont worry, i got you all right =)

    but

"limited amount of space" --> actually this gives you a lot of new ideas if you really think about it, think different!

  • @djbigwiz word man, that's a decent comment and i agree... see i try to think of new ways for interfaces and how thing work intuitively so i just added my 2 cent :D, if people want to use things, they want to understand it really easy...and not wanna read the fkin manual, i know its very hard to accomplish but some companies know how to do that (that's why the Jobs reference), actually to make a good product you need to be (or) think as an underdog and come up with more then good features :)

  • @enforce007 and the S. Jobs comment was obviously me just being a sarcastic smart ass but hey... that's just me. =) But really? C'mon man.. Jobs was brilliant at what he did but part of that brilliance was knowing his lane and staying in it. He couldn't have touch Rane at developing Pro Audio gear... sry bro, that was just a bad analogy. =)

  • @enforce007 yea, and pls don't take my reply the wrong way. I wasn't mad or talking trash but just trying to clear those points up in a limited amount of space. I honestly don't think it's that confusing and I think once you actually see it and can spend a few mins with it in person and not looking at it on a screen or on paper, it will make more sense. It's actually less confusing than the 57, which people love, since there are more dedicated controls that don't have to do as much double duty.

  • @efsq I'm thinking about selling my 56 with or without my SL1. Interested?

  • @djbigwiz 2 bad you did not understand what i was trying to say ... i sure its a great mixer but the interface... well just my opinion

  • @enforce007 1st, no ones "selling" USB 2 as a feature. It's more to point out a difference between the new mixers (especially the 61) and the 57 since people are looking at them as an "update" for it. 2nd, USB 2 offers more than enough for what's needed. 3rd, those who don't want/need all the control the buttons offer, there's the 61. The 62's not that confusing. Maybe once you actually try one, you'll have a better, educated opinion but you're right, S. Jobs did make great performance mixers.
